• perfectly good books that become conferences (”john eldridge and the wild at heart men”? what the hell is that??)
• the phrase “bible-believing church” (which 9 times out of 10 means “KJV-only-believing church”)
• dr. kent hovind (number one, have you seen the behemoth cartoon? and number 2, have you see this guys “credentials?”

there are probably a lot more, but i need to save some stuff for the podcast…

what do i believe?

i believe in God the father, creator of heaven and earth.
i believe in Jesus Christ, his son, our lord and redeemer.
i believe in the Holy Spirit, who empowers and teaches us.
i believe that all exist as one God in three persons, eternally.
i believe in the forgiveness of sin.
i believe in the Church, even when the church fails, because the Church are the followers of Christ, wherever they are gathered.
i believe in the crucifixion, ascension, and return of Jesus Christ.
i believe in life everlasting.

i believe all these things. i would go to the wall for these things. but above all else…
